New Hampshire Right to Life is the largest, oldest, and most active NH pro-life organization standing in defense of ALL THE BABIES!

NHRTL was founded to foster respect for human life from the moment of conception to natural death and to promote the right to life as the paramount social issue through educational, legislative, political, and other forms of lawful activities.

ANNUAL
MEMBERS MEETING:
November 8, 2002

Turn out for the 2002 Annual Members meeting was terrific (again!)   A big thank you to the crowd that attended.   The membership elected five trustees for 3 year terms:  three are new (Tara Hale, Nancy Nobile, and Rachael Marotta) and three were re-elected (Dan Hogan, Bill Currier, and Ed Holdgate).

The members meeting had a poignant moment with the resignation of former NHRTL Education Director Phil Morrison.  Phil has served the pro-life community for many years and will be missed.  He landed a great job out of state, so the evening fellowship time became a farewell party for him (thanks to Betty's planning!).   Dan Dickey was elected by the membership to fulfill the remaining year of Phil Morrison's 3-year term on the board.  The membership also passed all of the proposed by-law changes (which appear below).

Later in the evening, the newly assembled 15 member board of trustees held officer elections for one year terms.   Dick Lalmond was re-elected as Treasurer, Rachael Marotta was elected Secretary, Warren Goddard was elected Chair, Tara Hale was elected Vice President, and Ed Holdgate was re-elected President.   Profuse thanks went out to former VP Kathy Souza and former Sect'y Barbara Hagan who will remain on the Board, but now also have -- happily -- duties as NH State Representatives!  Congrats to them!

In summary, the 2002-2003 NHRTL leadership team is:
