Proactive pro-lifers marched in defense of innocent human
life this past January in Concord. By many measures, it was one of the most
successful Marches in a long time, mostly because of the teamwork thus: Pastor
Tom Clark led the tearful observance at the Concord landfill. Dianne West
provided musical assistance. Aborted babies from the local abortion
clinic were discovered there years ago. At the time, lawmakers prevented NHRTL
from retrieving the bodies for proper burial. Former US Senator Gordon
Humphrey gave encouragement to keep fighting for the right to life. Special
comfort was found at the churches where victory by faithfulness was reassured.
The pro-lifers all know that church exit doors are really entrance doors to
the mission field. The rally at the State House attracted a bevy of
pro-life candidates such as Gordon Humphrey, Fran Wendelboe, Gene Douglass,
and Sean Mahoney. Then some 400+ pro-lifers marched past the abortion
clinic as the photos below show. The heartfelt testimony of our keynote
speaker,
Rebecca Kiessling, revealed to many why exceptions for rape
and incest abortions should not be in any legislation. Rebecca told how
she discovered she was a product of a rape, and by how miraculous events she
was spared from abortion. She came from Michigan to tell us her story of pain
in her own family and restoration in Christ. Rarely has a room so overfull
been so very quiet as she testified. Many thanks to all who helped make
this team effort work so well. Join us in 2003 to see how we can do even
better at witnessing for life, and educating ourselves with insights and
convictions to be proactive in defending life.
